Artifact Planning Capabilities

Assignment and Resource Management

Proceve offers comprehensive tools for assigning and managing resources:

  • Team or User Assignment: Assign tasks, requirements, and other artifacts to specific teams or individuals.
  • Sprint Assignment: Allocate artifacts to predefined sprints for structured planning and execution.
  • Charge Codes: Associate artifacts with charge codes for detailed financial tracking and reporting.
  • Deadline: Assign deadlines to any type of artifact within our software.

Prioritization and Todo Orders

Our software provides flexible prioritization options:

  • Criticality Levels: Assign high, medium, or low priority to artifacts based on their criticality.
  • Customizable Prioritization: Use numerical scales to tailor prioritization according to project needs (e.g., 2 artifacts that are of “high” priority can be given a 1 or 2, allowing for extensive prioritization).
  • Todo Orders: Specify the sequential order of artifact completion, allowing for effective task sequencing independent of priority.

Sprint Sets

Customizable Sprint Sets
  • Sprint Duration: Our software allows users to set their own desired sprint lengths. The default is set to 14 working days, but users may customize to their project needs.
  • Start Date: Align sprint start dates with the project timeline.
  • Total Sprints: Specify the total number of sprints for any desired length of time (e.g., 26 sprints for a year).

Automated Sprint Generation
  • Automatic Creation: After a user defines their sprint properties, our software will automatically generate sprints with consistent and proper sequencing.
Sprint Properties
  • Name: After generation, default names follow the sprint set (e.g., Sprint Set A: Sprint 1, then Sprint set A: Sprint 2 etc). Custom names are available as well.
  • Description: Add descriptions to each sprint set (Optional).
  • Start and End Dates: Our software sets these dates automatically based on initial configuration.
  • Numbering: Sequential numbering for easy reference (e.g., Sprint 1, Sprint 2).

Team-Specific Sprint Sets

Global Sprint Alignment
  • Unified Sprint Sets: All teams link to a global set of sprints, ensuring alignment and avoiding discrepancies in sprint schedules.
Team-Specific Data
  • Story Points: Assign and track story points for each team’s sprint, aiding in estimation and planning.
  • Performance Tracking: Post-sprint, record the actual story points completed to compare targeted vs. actual performance.
