Access to projects is based on membership in a Team that is assigned to a Project. If you are not a member of a Team that is assigned to a project you will not have any access to it, you can’t even see that the Project exists.
Example:
Demo Project 1 has 3 Team Members:
- Demo User (Account/Project Owner)
- John Smith
- Anne Hathaway
Demo Software Project only has Demo User as a Project Team Member.
Harry Potter is a Member of the Demo Account but is not assigned to any projects at this time.
As we can see Demo User has 2 projects in his Project List
But if we log in as John Smith
We only see one project in John’s Project list because he is not a member of the Demo Software Project.
Finally if we log in again as Harry Potter:
We see no Projects in Harry’s Project List because he has not yet been assigned to any Projects.
